Join IFI friends for ice cream and fireworks on June 29th. We will be celebrating the Independence Day holiday a few days early by enjoying ice cream at the Sidney Dairy Barn and then, immediately after that, attending the fireworks at West Side Park in Tolono. Both Sidney and Tolono are villages near Champaign-Urbana. You will get the feel of small town America with this event! This will be the third time that IFI has done this and it has been a popular event.

IFI has some transportation available if you don’t have a way to get there. The cost is $5 per person (cash only) for IFI transportation and the entry fee donation. Also bring cash for the Sidney Dairy Barn and for any food and beverage vendors and amusements at West Side Park. The foods served there are typical carnival types of foods. They have tasty French fries! Bring your water bottle and a towel or blanket to sit on the grass. In past years, we’ve even had some playing board games using cell phone lights before the fireworks started!
