End of the Semester Party! – Spring 2025 – IFI at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Join the party! The semester will soon be drawing to a close. Some of you will be graduating, some will be going back to your country in May or returning there later in the summer. Some will be taking new jobs or or searching for employment and possibly moving elsewhere at some point. Some just want to celebrate! IFI wants to invite you to a free end of the semester celebration with friends as you move forward in your life!

The Vineyard in Urbana has graciously agreed to let IFI use their large café dining area for this party in the afternoon on Sunday, May 11th. We will begin the party at 1:00 so please come a little early. We will celebrate until about 3:00. There will be snacks and desserts and an “end of the semester” cake for those graduating or leaving us. There will be other foods as well, including vegetarian options. You do not need to bring food but are welcome to bring a favorite snack from your country if you like.

Some IFI transportation is available, plus the Vineyard is easily accessible on May 11th using the MTD. The Vineyard is located at 1500 N. Lincoln Avenue and is regularly serviced every 20 minutes on Sundays by the 22 Illini North and 22 Illini South bus routes. Plan to arrive at the Vineyard by bus at either 12:35 or 12:55 PM.
